Skills Development

Develop your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills as well as your use of formal and informal registers .

Many students express that they know many words when they read or hear them , but cannot think of them when they speak or write. This is why it's important to strike a balance between practising productive and receptive skills.

Some students are interested in learning to give presentations or take part in debates, while others are more interested in essay writing, or even the more subtle aspects of language, such as making small talk or understanding humour.

I am particularly interested in how language works, so if Functional Grammar , or rather, adapting your language to suit your situational need is your main area of interest, you are in the right place.
