Welcome, my name is Henry, thank you for visiting my website, I look forward to meeting some of you in the near future.

I am offering private online tuition in ESOL and EFL at £12 per hour, for students aged 16 and over. Face to face lessons are currently unavailable.

Since qualifying in 2001, I have taught overseas (Thailand) and in the UK at summer schools, worked as an ESOL assistant in adult education, a freelance EFL tutor and assisted with exam preparations.

I hold an MA in Applied Linguistics from The University of Birmingham, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages ( English & Spanish), a Cambridge RSA CELTA, am DBS checked and have completed a basic proofreading course. I am particularly interested in Systemic Functional Grammar, Corpus Linguistics and Semiotics. Currently, I regularly update my skills by attending conferences and deliver workshops in Functional Grammar and Classroom Technology.
